Deep Blue Groove (DBG) is excited about 2008. They will be releasing their first CD sometime in May. DBG will once again be playing every Tuesday and Thursday evening, on the patio, at Brio’s Tuscan Grille, Easton. They have also added over 15 songs to their current song list. Some originals along with some covers are included.

Deep Blue Groove formed as a duo in June 2003, created by conga player Russ Frost and jazz guitarist Adam Koltnow. Mixing Frost’s dynamic sounds from the Caribbean and the rhythmic, funky sound of Koltnow created a vibe unique to Deep Blue Groove. After several months of gigging they expanded the range of the band adding Craig Fernandez on Sax. Currently, they are gigging as a trio. They play a wide variety of events and venues and are recording their first full length CD.
